Thoughts on building products, storytelling, and the intersection of technology and human experience.

Ambition and how we define it.

Ambition, to most people, means putting career above everything else. At least, that’s been my observation in my own peer groups.

We’ve made it synonymous with career and underneath that, money, the title, the salary. That’s the version we celebrate.

But I know people who are raising kids with intention while holding down a career, showing up for ageing parents, staying consistent at the gym and upskilling themselves. And still eking out some time for themselves.

We were the AI before AI became a thing.

We were the AI before AI became a thing.

There will come a day when my son will look at me, half-curious, half-judgy and ask, “Wait… you people actually searched the internet… without AI?”

I can’t wait for him to sit down with his grandma for that one. I can already see her face. The same look she had when I once said Maggi takes too long. She’ll try to explain a time when there was no internet. He’ll look at her like she’s describing life before oxygen.
